My mommy and daddy decided one day to get a dog and started looking around at the pounds...they wanted to rescue one. They came to the pound I was at and my daddy fell in love with me, and the rest is history!
Bio:
When I was 3-years-old I was diagnosed with degenerative disc disease (something common with Daschshunds) and my parents were devastated. They put me on steroids, which amazingly shrunk my protruding disc and I was no longer in pain! I have been on steroids ever since, and just about two years ago I was diagnosed with Addison's disease (I know...I am an expensive doggy!). But my mommy and daddy take great care of me and I am feeling great because I get my steroid everyday and my shot (for my Addison's disease) once a month. Life is good...again!
