Arrival Story:
She was abused/neglected by a neighbor in Maine. One winter it was 30 degrees below zero and she was kept outside. I called her owners and asked if I could take her. They said yes.
Bio:
In addition to neglect and malnutrution, maya suffered from heart worms (which stunted her growth) and fleas. In addition her owners said she was hit 3 times by a car at only 8 months old. She also has a half tail and no explination of how it got that way.
