Oh GREAT.

There's snow. I hate snow. Snow means cold. Cold means bad joints. Bad joints means I can't get up to my chair. Also, Busy gave us a BATH. Then, she sent me outside SOAKING WET. I got back in in 5 minutes though.

The Fur Factor!

O.K. I fully admit there are some huge vacuuming issues surrounding my furriness. However, at least I do not have to get dressed to go outside.

My new role as a Teacher.

Well, I've done many things to be proud of in my long life, but this is a new one. After many weeks of painstaking demonstrations, Rocky has finally taken my lead and learned to lift his leg while peeing. Sure, he still is a little unstable, and sometimes falls half over or pees after his leg is back down, but, I think he is doing just grand. Next on the list is teaching him how to squeeze out just a little at a time so he can leave lots of pees in a short walk. Missie still hasn't caught on yet, but all hope is not lost. I'll just keep working on her.

Not Again!

The day started out really well yesterday. Busy, and the whole family went for a long ride in the van. Then, we stopped at this place that I have never been to before, and Noisy and Squeemish made a big fuss over a little red furball, and Busy actually put him in the van with us and took him home. I hope she is just babysitting.

O. K., maybe I like her a little.

Missie sure is growing up fast. She even likes to go on walks with me and Busy. She sniffs whatever I sniff. I haven't taught her to pee at all the spots I do yet though, and she doesn't like slough swimming. Busy is very happy about that. Sometimes she is even good company. She can even get me excited enough to play, which is cool, cuz I haven't wanted to do that in a while. Other times she jumps on me and wags her tail and barks, and I don't want to play. She isn't very good at listening to "No!" I get to eat her really yummy food too. That's a nice change.

I think she's staying.

Busy forgot to take the fuzzball back, and now she even gave her a name. What kind of a name is Missie anyway? Now I think I'm stuck with this little thing, and she still wants to cuddle. At least she is growing a little bigger, and I can hide downstairs, cuz she can't follow me. She figured out how to jump up on my upstairs chair already. She is so frustrating. The only one who is on my side is "Lumpy". He hides downstairs with me sometimes too.

Uh Oh!!!!

Well, I missed my walk today. "Busy" took "Noisy" and "Squeemish" for a ride in the car without me. They were gone an awful long time, so I had to take myself on a walk without them. Even took a dip in the slough. (Busy would hate that). Then, they got back, and there is a problem. They brought a fuzzball home with them. It's really little. It wants to cuddle with me. I have been making it clear, that I'm off limits. I hope it goes back to its own home soon. This babysitting stuff that Busy does sucks.

They coo over that darn thing a lot. They didn't even take me on a walk when they got back!

What is she up to now?

So I'm just lying about the house, and "Busy" keeps looking at me with this weird concerned look in her eyes. It's been ever since she took me for a ride to see the vet. Now she hides lumpy white things in my food, and if I spit them out she pushes them down to the back of my tongue so I can't. Sometimes she even squirts this other yucky stuff into my mouth, but she gives me a weiner piece if I co-operate, so I'm pretty good. Anyway, she has been on the phone with some lady, and looking at the computer a lot (I hate that) and I know something is up.
