Likes: Missie is a food hound! She likes weiner pieces or any other people food she can get ahold of. She loves chasing moths, and also loves shredding paper and catching mice. Next best she likes laps to sleep on.
Pet-Peeves: other dogs who won't play with her, being left all alone, when people don't want her kisses, birds on the other side of the fence.
Favorite Toy: an old glove, spiky rubber armadillo, anything that she can shred, she loves to tear up toilet paper roles and books if she can get them
Favorite Food: People food, weiner pieces, Iams select bites, Beggin strips, horse poop if she can get it.
Favorite Walk: Missie LOVES going anywhere that she can meet new people and dogs. She is a real flirt, very playful and friendly.
Best Tricks: Sit, leave it, lay down, stay, heel (0n leash), come (we haven't perfected this one yet), giving kisses and lick down baths in the morning, acting like a drunk pogo stick jumping about when we come home and she is excited.
Arrival Story: Trying to distract myself from the realization that J P is very old and not doing so well, I'd been long considering getting another dog. We had decided on a Cavalier male and were patiently waiting for one when I heard about this mix of these two wonderful breeds. I saw her and could not resist. I feel incredibly blessed to own this mixed bred puppy. She has one black masked tricolor sister who looks much like her with a slightly shorter padded face, and four other siblings with white and cream coloring. One sister has a dogster page too. DIAMOND
Bio: Missie's mom was a fine tri-colored cavalier, her Dad a light sable Tibetan Spaniel. She has taken after her Tibbie side, though, with the parti-sable coloring and shorter legs, as well as their solid body, gracefull movement and ability to climb. She has a little nose length and ear length from her mom. She is smart, fearless, happy and bold, yet gentle. She weighs 12 1/2 pounds. She is a wonderfully loving little snuggler.

What an awesome girl.: When looking at breed descriptions I was a little hesitant about the Tibetan Spaniel. No longer. Indeed, Missie is not good at coming when she is called. She is an independent thinker. However she is so delightfully inquisitive, friendly, people tollerant, calm and startle free, we could not have picked a better dog for our noisy rambunctious household. We are all totally in love with her!!
After I came home from Lunar and Phoebe's house, I was really itchy. Mommy had a look, and said I had something called "lice". Then today, Mommy took all the cushions off the chairs and floor, vaccumed like mad, then gave me a bath. I DON'T LIKE BATHS. Oh well. At least I'm not itchy any more.

Neighbour Shirley has chickens! I think they are soooo fascinating. Last year I learned how to stand on my back legs and wriggle through the wider upper squares of the farm wire to go visit her chickens. I really was just visiting . . O.K. . . . maybe a little chasing happened, but I wasn't going to eat 'em, honest.
Then, a couple of weeks later, I managed to go visit our side neighbours Great Dane, Diva. I had lots of fun running in circles around her and barking. When she chased me I got a little scared though. Boy her legs are long!!!
Well, since then, unless she is with me, Mom has made me stay mostly in our little back yard fence. Hmmmph. There are three wonderful acres to play on and I get stuck in a back yard!
But lately strange things have been going on. Mom and Dad and my two biped bros took away the backyard fence. Down came the wire and out came the posts. I think they did it just for me! What a riot. I can check out the ducks in the swamp. I can sniff bunny trails. Rocky and I can run and chase forever.
I thought maybe one more chicken sniff was in order. I non-chalantly found my way over to check out that farm wire fence . . . and it was different! Try as I might, I could not get through. What's up with that!?!
