Ruby is the sweetest most intelligent dog I know. She sings to us when we come home, even if we only went to the mail box and back. I couldn't imagine a day without her under my feet, on my bed or beside me on the couch.

Woof!
Its's been a while since I wrote last. I went to a great picnic recently. There were lots of other Goldens, woof, woof, as it was a Golden Retriever Picnic! I met lots of really neat Goldens and lots of nice people like mine! I learned that I like to go through tunnels! They are lots of fun, woof, especially when my people brother Matt was at the other end with cookies! Woof, Woof, Woof!!
I would like to introduce you to my newest cousin, Ozzie, the pitt bull! His picture is above. He is only 3 months old, one in the pic. His feline brother is Bubbles, who I personally love! Woof. He's the big guy in the front of the pic. The little lady in the back is Ashley. I haven't met Ozzie or Ashley yet as they all live in Red Deer, Alberta, but if they are as much fun as Bubbles, we'll have a blast!!! Woof!

Bark at you again soon,
Sending you lots of Cookies!

Golden Fishing Adventure

Me and my family were up in Cache Creek. We went fishing for 3 days. I had so much fun. We rented a pontoon boat so that I could go fishing with my family. It was really scary at the start when we were backing the boat out of the dock but once we got out there I had a great time. My brother caught the first fish and I was so excited. Even though I had no clue what it was that thing was really interesting. After we caught another fish that was big enough to keep we let it roll around in the bottom of the boat. It kept getting closer and closer to me and I didn't know what to do. Luckily my dad scooped it up before it got to me and my Mom cuddled me and patted me until I was calm. It was a tiring job fishing out on that lake. I slept the rest of the time that we were out fishing. The next morning I got scared because I didn't know where I was. I am used to waking up on a comfortable bed but this little mat that I had to sleep on wasn't that great. But I didn't care because my family was still there.. and so were my favorite treats. My Mom had this magic pocket that was filled with endless treats!!! Woof!! All I had to do to get one was poke her with my nose and look longingly at the pocket!! I'm so cute, she just melted and gave me one! Woof! The second night there was a humongous windstorm. I was really freaked out. The waves were taller than me. We went fishing a bit later and there was still a bit of wind. We flew that boat way down the lake. That was fun because I got to stick my head out the side of the boat and let my ears flap in the wind. Once we stopped way down the lake the wind started to pick up again. That made me really scared. It was so windy that we couldn't fish anymore. I got really wet because all of the waves kept splashing up in to the boat. When we got back I ran out of that boat so fast that I almost fell intothe water. We got inside and warmed up really quickly. Then I slept and slept some more. The next morning my family packed us up and we drove home. I was so glad to see my yard and my toys and my couch and my soft, cushy mat and to not have to go in the boat again!!! Woof!!!!! I can't wait to go again!!!!
