Arrival Story:
I found an add in the paper. He was a bit older - at almost 14 weeks. The people were going to keep him as he was the biggest and best of the litter. They decided they couldn't keep him (they also had his mom, a horse, his friends the chocolate lab and a goat, his brother who was deaf and 2 kids-wow!) We went to look at him and I had to have him. I had been looking for quite a while for a dane. We took him home and have had many crazy days since.

Bio:
Apollo came from a Mantle mom and a Harlequin dad. He was one of 12 puppies however two sadly didn't survive. One of his brothers, although not white, was completely deaf. Apollo is 3 years old now and is about 36 inches tall at the shoulder and weighs in at about 140 lbs We had to put Apollo down on December 1, 2008. He bloated and twisted. My heart is just broken but I am so lucky that he was my dog even for the short amount of time he was here.
