My 4th woofday

Hey pups,
Mom said it's time we end my woofday celebration. My woofday was last Saturday April 28th. I turned 4 years old. What a grrrreat day I had. Mom got me lots of new treats, toys and I went to the doggie park and for a long walk. I am exhausted from all the pawty-ing. I just wanted to say a big THANK YOU to all my dogster friends and pups who wishes me a Happy Woofday and sent me rosettes and messages. You are all so darn special to me and it wouldn't have been a woofday without you. Thanks to PDPC for letting me have my Woofday pawty in The Pawty House and thanks for all my friends who attended. It was a pawtastic time!

Prince Charming of the Week

Hey everypup....guess what? I'm PDPC's Royal Dog of the Week! How cool is that!

What a pleasant surprise I had this morning. Mom was jumping up and down saying I was Prince Charming of The Week! I started blitzing everywhere! I am so honored and excited and happy to have this award! Thank you to the administrators of PDPC, all my friends for their congrats and best wishes......Puf, Madison, Maggie, Miss Dixie Monroe, Buttercup, Rascal, Sugar, Chester, Gibby and any other pup I forgot! Plus, Mr. Rascal made me quite a stellar picture!
I am so happy to be part of Dogster and PDPC and all the other groups I'm in and c0-admin and to have grrrrrreat pup friends! Have a grrrrreat week doggies and Luck o' the Irish to ya! Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Mud bath and new video

Hey everydog,

Well, there has been NO snow here in Cleveland this winter like I am used to and I am not happy about it. Where's all that white, cold stuff at?? It's so fun to eat and shovel with my nose and stuff. It's just yuck-o rain for now and I'm not a big fan of getting wet at all..... baths, swimming, and even rain just aren't for me. So needless to say, going outside to do my business is an adventure for me and Mom. It usually ends up with Mom tip toeing around the yard and me getting my paws wiped for like 10 minutes when I get inside. But today, there were lots of puddles in the back yard and I had a run in with one. Oops! As we all know, white and mud don't mix and that meant...........a bath. Geez!!!

So.......I just had a bath and posted my very first video on my Dogster page. Check it out!!! The video is of my post-bathtime routine which includes me trying to dry myself off on Mom's bed and being 100% unsuccessful!!!!! It's so fun though to act dog-gone crazy and wild!!! It definitely takes all of my energy cause I am "pooped" now. Time a for a nap, dogsters. Bark at ya soon!!

Letter to Santa Paws

Dear Santa Paws,

I know you've been watching me and whether or not I've been naughty or nice. I have a been a nice dog.....for the most part..... and we probably don't need to talk about the times I've been naughty. Let's just forget about them all together. What do ya' say, Santa?
Can you please bring me lots of stuffed animals that make squeaky noises? I just love chewing their eyes and nose off. It's so fun.
Also I would really like some new balls for Mom to throw cause mine are all falling apart and I keep losing them under the kitchen counter to the doggie gods forever.
Oh, and bones, lots and lots of glorious bones. I really like the Dingo ones Mom gets from PetSmart or even Pig Ears, ummm ummm good. It really doesn't matter what kind of bones I get Santa, I just love 'em.
And if there is anyway that you could get rid of my itchy scratchy allergies that would be the best Christmas present ever. I just hate scratching all the time and I know Mom does, too. Nothing Mom or the Vet had tried works. So who better to ask that the Big Jolly Man himself??
My last wish for Christmas is for you to help all the homeless doggies is the world find a happy loving home for the Holidays. Please Santa, could you??
That would be pawsome and make me warm and fuzzy inside.
Ok I think that's it for my Christmas Wish List. I promise to leave you some doggie bones and cheese(cause that's my favorite) out on Christmas Eve. Until then Santa Paws, I'll be waiting by the fireplace!!

In the doghouse.......

So, I'm in trouble with mom. Big time. I've been a bad doggie as she says. And I'll admit it, I have been.
First, Mommy was making a sandwich the other day and I was sitting in the kitchen watching and waiting for her to drop something good. Anyway, my kitty furbling Mercury had the same idea and wanted some of what Mom was making, too. Well, Mommy put some ham on the floor for Mercury and I and let's just say Mercury didn't get any. Oops, I ate his. Sorry Merk, it was just too good and I couldn't resist. So, I was in trouble that night and no more human food for a while.
Well, yesterday, my grandma was over and brought Mom a brownie wrapped up in a napkin. Mom said she would eat it later. Silly grandma left the brownie on the corner of the stove and I snatched it up when no one was looking. Mom went to eat the brownie and it was gone. She found the napkin on the floor by my toy box and it was over for me. She was yellin and screamin and yellin and screamin some more. She told me SHE wanted to eat the brownie and that chocolate can make me sick. How was I supposed to know? and how was I supposed to resist that chocolatey goodness????? I'm not sorry about the brownie. It was really good and being in the doghouse was worth it. I'm still licking my chops now.

Rain, Rain, go away........

So Mom says it's raining out and I know what that means..............no walks and no going to the dog park. Ugh. I have been trying to get Mom to take me on as many walks as I can before it gets too cold and that wet white stuff is on the ground. Man, I hate that stuff, it feels so darn cold on my paws. I can tell that snow or whatever they call it is coming soon, too cause it's getting colder and colder. I know some of my buddies say they love the snow but it's not for me........ if it snows too much here I get lost in it.
Anyway, I have been enjoying my walks and love playing in the leaves. Mommy doesn't understand why I have to leave my mark on every pile I see, but I told her it was a dog thing, she wouldn't get it.
She said Halloween is coming and that there will be lots of visitors at the door and that I can help pass out candy. I don't really care so much about helping pass out the candy as much as I do the candy itself!!! Arrrrrooooooo!! She'll probably make me put on that shirt she just got me, too. It says "Will do tricks for treats." Cute Mom, real cute.
I'm gonna go lay by the window and hope this rain stops soon so I can at least do my business without getting soaking wet.

Ohio's friendly doggies

Hey everyone,
My good pup pals and I started a new Dogster group yesterday called "Ohio's friendly dogs." I think is is going to be lots of fun. Mommy and I have been really busy inviting tons of dogster members to join our group. So I'm really happy because we already have 50 members and it's only our 2nd day as a group!!!!! Woof Woof! Mommy said I should be happy that so many doggies are so kind and want to join our group soooooooooooo.................

Paws up to all Ohio doggies. If you live in Ohio and want to join the group, send me a p-mail and I will send you an invite as soon as dog-gone possible. We want as many friendly Ohio dogs as we can, and we are well on our way!!

What a great day!!!

Whew am I tired..... yesterday I had the best day ever. Mommy told me we were going for a walk early in the morning and boy was I excited. So I trotted around the neighborhood pulling mommy along with me. (boy is she slow sometimes) And on my walk I played with one of my bestest buddies, Scooter and we ran around his yard for a while.
Then, mommy asked me if I wanted to go for a car ride. Silly human, is that even a question??? Of course I want to go for a car ride, always, always, always!!! We went and got mommy's oil changed in her car and all the people there had to pet me. They were really nice but they had dirty hands from all the grease and oil and I'm white so I kinda ducked and weaved a lil bit to make sure I didn't too dirty.
But the trip wasn't over yet because..........we went to PetSmart!!!!! Wooo Hooo!!! I love love love love PetSmart because of all the doggies and good smells there. Mommy got me a new bone which I promtly chewed up as soon as we got home. What a fabulous day for a doggie. We did all of my favorite things in one day. I'm so lucky to have such a great mommy who loves me so much. Well I'm still kinda pooped from yesterday, so I'm gonna go take a nap. Bark at ya'll later.
