Well, it's been 3 months since this monster arrived. To be honest I'd rather he not be here. He is trying to hog my mom's attention and even comes upstairs, the nerve of him! And mom doesn't even back me up! She says he's allowed to have hugs too and that he is allowed to be anywhere in the house he wants! I still love my mommy but sometimes I'm not happy about the arrangement. I'm getting a little bit used to him. Mom keeps talking about how much bigger he is than me but I don't see it. I do get to keep under the day bed as my special get away retreat. I used to be jealous of his food. Mom put something wet and yummy in his to get him to eat. I wanted it but he didn't want to let me have it. I thought my mommy would give me anything I wanted but she wouldn't let me eat his food! So I made sure to make a big issue out of it and mom had to seperate us to eat. Finally she saw the light and puts a little in everybody's food. Now we can all eat together without problems.

The country

We moved to the country a few weeks ago, a month maybe. I love it! I love to run, climb onto rocks and stick my nose into everything.

I have discovered a delicacy here in the country-

GRASSHOPPERS! Yum!! Dead or alive!

My mom thinks it is gross but I told her not to knock it until she tried it.

So sad

My mom got out the suitcase again. :-( But I am not mad at her. Her Papa was very very sick and he died on Saturday. I'm going to be a good girl so she won't have to worry about me when she gets home.

My mom is home!!
I am SO happy. She came back with a cold so I had to take care of her for a few days. She brought back a ceramic dish set for me. One is shaped like a heart. It is pink with 'Princess' at the bottom in white. That one is for food. The other dish is round and pink with a white heart at the bottom. That one is for water. I LOVE my new dishes. They are from this really posh store in Texas. But the best part is sleeping in my bed with my mom and going for walks! Yeah!!

Wednesday my mom got out that box with the zipper. She was putting clothes and her toothbrush in it. Sure enough! Thursday morning she put that box in the truck of the car and didn't come back. The last time this happened my mom was gone for a whole week. I still get my food and water and treats and cheweys. She left the door to 'our' room open so I slept in there. She was wasn't back when I woke up and I was really sad. Then later today I got to talk to her on the phone. That made me feel a little better. My mom is in Texas helping out with her Papa who is sick, so I guess it's ok.

I have been very anxious lately. I have been needing to burn off some energy and going for a walk just wasn't cutting it! I wanted my treat ball. Mom puts pieces of peanut butter biscuits in it. When I push it around with my nose and paws the pieces fall out! We looked everywhere for three days! And then, today, in only a few moments of searching my mom found it wedged under a cabinet. Now how on earth did it get there! Oh well, I don't care. Mom put it all together and let me go at it. My sister, Temper, started following me around and stealing the pieces when they came out! Mom shooed her away and when I got to the last piece she opened the ball up and gave it to me, cuz that's how we do it. Now I am pooped and ready for a good nights sleep.
