Arrival Story: Ely was found wandering the streets of Santa Clara when he was about a year old. He was rescued from the local shelter by a kind volunteer for BASHRR, the Bay Area Siberian Husky Rescue Referral group (http://www.bayareasiberian.org). Ely was painfully underweight at 40 pounds, and was subsequently moved to another foster home for 4 months where he could socialize with a herd of huskies, double his weight, and get some extra TCL. We found Ely's picture on the BASHRR website and had to meet the shy guy for ourselves. At the end of the couple hour visit to his foster home, Ely had worked up the courage to come say hello to us and sealed the deal. We left a deposit and returned the next week to bring Ely home.

Bio: He is as sweet as he looks!
