Arrival Story:
Grizz came into our lives on New Years Day in 1992. We just went to "look", which is impossible!! From that point on, we were completely "owned" by him. We were blessed to have him as a family member for just over 11 years. He was happy from the first day he joined our family.

Bio:
Grizz developed cancer in 2002. We opted to treat, as long as his quality of life was maintained, which was about a year. We met many friends through his battle with cancer and Grizz was incredible through it all. So brave, never did he lose his spirit to live and enjoy life until that last fateful day. Then we knew that he was no longer enjoying life. We lost him on January 21, 2003. We miss him so much. I wrote and published a book about his life and his courageous battle with cancer called "Grizz's Story-A Greater Courage" and we are donating all the proceeds to canine cancer research and treatment in his memory. Also I designed a web site for other cancer pet owners to visit so they know that they are not alone. The URL is http://www.grizz.20megsfree.com if you would like to come and read more about him. He was a soul-mate.

Hi everyone,
My folks are going to Greenville, SC this coming Monday to attend the Siberian Husky Nationals and they are so excited !! They are taking my book along and it will be sold at the Siberian Husky Health Foundation's booth and Mommy is actually doing a book signing there!!!!! Again, all proceeds from my book are going to benefit cancer research for companion animals. If you are in the area, please come and say "hi". My Mommy and Dadddy loved me so much and didn't want me to leave them so soon. Please help fight canine cancer. It strikes so many of us. For more details about my book, please go to http://www.grizz.20megsfree.com or email Mommy at cheesedawg@earthlink.com She would love to hear from you.
Hugs, wags and prayers, Grizz in shining spirit.
