Arrival Story:
For my birthday, my wife gave me a gift certificate for an adoption at the local SPCA --- I was so excited to get my first dog. In preparation, we joined the SPCA's SOS (Sleepover and Socialize) program and had three puppies, Pita, Pooh Bear, and Polly spend some nights with us. I loved them, but was sad and happy at the same time when they were adopted! When our friend, Heather, heard we were planning to get a dog, she mentioned that a family friend had a chocolate lab, Jubilee, who was expecting puppies. Although I was set on adopting a shelter dog, we met Jubilee and fell in love with her personality (she was 8 yrs. old and a bit grumpy in a good way!). We also saw how well the puppies were taken care of and socialized (Jubilee lived above a coffee shop and would take her pups down to meet everyone), that we decided we would adopt one of her pups. I'm so glad we had Daisy enter our lives. She's been a wonderful addition to our family, and has made the first-time experience of having a dog an absolute delight. I don't think I'll ever live without a family dog again!

Bio:
Daisy was born to Jubilee and Arbor, both chocolate labs, and has 8 siblings: Freddy, Koa, Effie, Leica, Misty, Rocco, Chummy/Honey, and Leroy. Jubilee lived above a coffee shop in the Cook St. village area so many people have seen them and they are often referred to as the "Cook St. Pups".
