Arrival Story:
Mulligan came to me as a foster dog for the lab rescue, he was formerly known as Simba. His family in Tucson gave him up after 5 years. The word was he barked nonstop. Allegedly he was kept outside at all times, I don't know because I never talked to the original family. (incidently if they ever see this profile I would LOVE a puppy picture, I day dream all the time about how cute he must have been as a puppy!). They turned him into the pound. The pound was going to have to put him down because he had broken his tail and they couldn't control the bleeding. His tail packs a powerful punch, he broke it open on the chain fence of the pound. Thankfully, the pound called the wonderful women at Tucson lab rescue and they picked him up that night so he could avoid his death sentence. Anyway he came to me as a foster dog and within 15 minutes I knew I couldn't let him go. The guy has personality plus! And he is a big love bug, which sucks only because he is so big and doesn't realize it. He has never been a barker for me. Of course he has run of the house and a dog door for while I'm gone, so he shouldn't have too much to complain about. Sometimes I wonder how his first family could have given him up, but man....am I glad they did.
