Now I'm a brother

Well, Bella came to live with us on Friday. I'm still not really sure about how I am feeling about her. Mostly I'm ambivalent - except when she bites my tail or legs, and then I have to get up and leave the scene. She's a little bit annoying, but sort of cute too. It's nice when we can snuggle together, which isn't very often yet, but hopefully she'll calm down a little bit soon and we can be best of friends!

Mommy and Daddy are being really great about giving me equal love these days. I'm getting lots of extra treats (which is always a good thing) and lots of cuddles and playtime too. We even went to the Murfreesboro Dog Park yesterday and while Bella had to stay in her tote (she's too little) I got to run around and PLAY with the other dogs. Much fun.

Sister again!!

We got to go visit my new little sister again today, and this time we brought a camera!! Her page will be up soon and until then you can see her in my latest picture. I still wasn't really excited about her too much, but I'm sure I'll be more interested once she comes to live with us next week. Can't wait until then!!

Tomorrow there is a Pugs in the Park Meetup in Nashville. Can't wait to play with all the other pugs!! And next Saturday is the Nashville Pugnic - even more puggie friends to visit! Bella will be able to come with us, even though she'll be tiny. I'm sure mommy will hold her most of the time.

Meeting my new sister

Last Saturday we took a ride, one of my absolutely favorite things to do. But I wasn't sure where we were going until we stopped in Lebanon, TN, about a half-hour away from home. I was so confused, but excited, when we got out and went inside a new house. I sniffed around until we went out the back door, when I heard a LOT of barking!! We went into a big building where there were LOTS of pugs and Boston terriers, including three new litters of puppies!! Mommy and Daddy have been talking about a baby sister for me so the breeder took the three girls from the black pug litter out and we went out into the sun. They were really small, only four weeks old, and didn't really do much. I wasn't impressed. But Mommy held the one with a little white patch on her chest, and brought her up to her face and said, "Are you our Bella?" And then the puppy licked Mommy's nose. And so I guess that's my sister!

We can't bring her home until May 19th, and then you'll get to see some pictures on her webpage. Until then I got to play with the older litter of fawn pugs and we had a really great time! So I can't wait until Bella is a few more weeks older and we can play together ALL THE TIME. I will be an awesome big brother, I know it. More updates as we get closer to bringing-home date!!
