A Day in the Life of Zoey

PlayTime!!

Mommy said that my friend Zoey (yep.. same name as me!) is coming to spend the night next Friday. Yay! I always have a blast with Zoey! I can't wait!

Puppy Playdate

Yesterday was the first time I got to play with another puppy my age since being home with my Mommy and Daddy. I played with another puppy named Zoey. She is part Shih Tzu and part some sort of Terrier. She is little like me. We had a blast! The other Zoey and I rolled all over my grandma Kathy's driveway. I'm glad my mommy and daddy took me to play with Zoey. I get to play with her again today!

I went along with my mommy and daddy and brothers and sister to see goats today. I wasn't too sure if I liked them or not. Mommy kept laughing at me turning my head from side to side while looking at them. I was just trying to figure out what those silly looking creatures are.

I must go now and get ready for my daddy's birthday cook out. I can't wait to play with the other Zoey! Yay!

A Day in the Life of Zoey...

I woke at the sound of little kid footsteps sneaking by my crate this morning at 5:30 am. My humans seem to think they can sneak by me without waking me. I sure show them! I hopped right up and gave a little whine. Sure enough, here they come running to get me. It's always a pleasure to be greeted first thing in the morning by lots of hugs and kisses from my humans but when a girl's gotta go a girl's gotta go. So, of course, I let out a whine and was taken to my designer puppy pad immediately. Aaah! What a relief! I made it there just in time and got a treat from my big sister Carey for being such a good girl. I sure love my Clifford (the Big Red Dog) Peanut Butter and Jelly treats!

Mommy lets me wake my big brother Cory up each morning. I love to wake him by giving him lots of kisses on his face. He always greets me with a big smile when I do and gives me lots of hugs. I just love my human family!

Mommy took me downstairs for my favorite breakfast while my brothers and sister got up and ready for school. I like to nibble on their toes when they are getting ready but Mommy always takes me downstairs for my breakfast because the kids would rather play with me then get ready for school. I love eating my Science Diet food but love it better when my daddy makes it for me because he will mix the soft food with the hard food with his hands and give me the first bite by hand. Mommy says Daddy spoils me too much.

After breakfast and after the kids were off to school I ran down to chew on the carpet in Mommy's computer room. It's just small enough that I can drag it around the house but somehow I managed to pull a string in the carpet out enough to get it wrapped around my head. That scared me so I let out a yelp and Mommy came running. While she was trying to get the string from around my head I tried to chew on her hands. She didn't find that funny. She actually looked pretty scared. I guess I won't be allowed to chew on that carpet anymore because Mommy threw it away.

I'm off to find something else to chew on. My toys get boring sometimes.
