Arrival Story:
Phoenix was taken away by authorities in Ohio, after being starved and burned with cigarettes. He was just a skeleton and had circular burns from the top of his head, all the way down his body to his tail. He was goinging to be put down as soon as he was brought in to put him out of his misery, but the woman who runs the rescue that I foster for, Bellowood Rescue in Martin, MI got wind of him and decided he needed to know that life could be good as well, and pulled him from the shelter. since it was obvious that he needed more attention and TLC, he was placed at my house for foster care. He has gained weight and has grown back all of his hair and he is ready for adoption!
