On the other hand, I recently had to get a new molar, since I lost the one the doctor reconstructed last year. So last month I went under anesthesia again and got a new one. But it seems I lost it yesterday chewing on a chicken neck :(
Mom and dad decided the doctor to pull it out, so I won't have the right superior molar. I know it's not going to be a big problem for me. I have tons of other teeth to enjoy my food.
"May be it's a clever strategy that mom planned to get closer to prey" I though. HA! what a nerve! Once again, she managed to slip me into a costume! I was rebelling and trying to make my point: "I am a working terrier, mom, how can I be dressed as prey?". I was pulling my leash like a stallion about being domesticated when I started to hear: "Awwwwwwwww! what a beautiful skunk!"
SKUNK!
I could only hear hundreds of generations of proud JRT hunters rolling in their graves... Here I was, instead of going with mom to the field and track some skunk, dressed as one of them... at least I didn't smell. And to say the truth, kids loved me, parents came and took pictures of me and after showing my charm in the runway, along dozens of other dogs (some seemed to enjoy it, specially Goldens and Labs... do they have no pride?) I was so proud I got the third place! Mom and dad were so happy too!
Mmmm it was a nice costume contest, and my favorite was a Golden girl dressed as a belly dancer, she was nice and I was able to leave my working terrier pride aside and enjoy the moment, at least for a few minutes.
I think making mom and dad happy is part of my job too, and it makes me happy!
I celebrated my woofday in such an amazing way! First I had this great party with my JRT friends at the club, it was two weeks ago. That day Kuno became my boyfriend! It was his bday also, so I gave him a t-shirt, and he gave me a beautiful necklace! He is so handsome! *sigh*
Mom gave me a lamb meat cake! I loved it so much! My friends loved it also!
Mom and dad gave me lots of presents! three plush toys, a new bowl, a bowl mat, and the one I really don't like, a "beautiful purple vest" mom says... "you look sooo beautiful in it" she says.... grrrrr
Yesterday was my actual birthday! My best friend came and we played all the afternoon. Mom made an iced salmon cake! I also had a great party here in dogster with my friends of Perros de Mexico!
