Favorite Toy: paper Favorite Food: anything she can get her hands on Favorite Walk: she loved to walk anywhere we walk Best Tricks: laying around Arrival Story: My kids were outside playing one summer day and this stray dog approached them. She was very friendly and having not had any experience with dog breeds I thought she was a boxer. We put her in our side yard so that people riding by could see her and she could be reunited with her owner. Well noone ever came to claim her. We also had another dog named Maggie (she was a yellow lab). Maggie died suddenly that night in her sleep she was twelve years old.. We really believe that God sent Lilly our way because he knew that Maggie would no longer be with us the next day. This was a very hard time for our family especially my 12 year old son Christopher who "grew up with Maggie". Having Lilly there made it a little easier. Life with Lilly was great.. I took her to the vet and found out she was a pitbull mix. I was a little leary at first but soon found out that this breed is nothing short of big love bugs. We loved and cared for this pretty girl for 6 months when the true owner who lived right across the street came to claim her two days before Christmas.. We were so sad now we had no pets at all!! Maggie had died and Lilly was ripped from our family after 1/2 a year. She visited us frequently as she was always getting out of her yard.. One day my boys went over to play with her and the owner said she ran off and had been gone for a while. Well that is the end of her story. We hope and pray that someone who loves pitties as much as us picked her up!! Because we know what they do to pitbulls at the pound. Then Mrs. Connie and Joe gave us Gracie, We adopted Angel, and now we have Abby Gracies sister all is happy at our home. Forums Motto: Please let me stay here!! I am happy I've Been On Dogster Since:
