Arrival Story:
Lily became a member of our family on 4/25/2006. We adopted her from the Durham, NC ASPCA. Mom saw a picture of her online, as she was the pet of the week. She instantly fell in love and began hunting the dog down. She's now home with us and we are all in love with her!

Lily was a stray. We don't know much about her at this point other than that. The ASPCA rescued her from the streets, and judging by some scars on her ears and other areas, small ones, she must not have had the best time out there. She is still very nervous (this is written on her first day with us), but we keep cuddling with her and making sure she knows she will never have an ordeal like that again. She has a family that loves her now. *EDIT: I am sorry to say that our beloved Lily passed away on 9/26/09 from kidney failure

Lily left this world on 9/26/09 from kidney failure. We greatly miss her, but we know Poochanne, our previous dog, is taking good care of her.
