Bio:
I'm a tomboy (and everyone thinks I'm a boy too). I can play frisbee and hike for hours. Sometimes I like to just kick back and watch TV so I can bark at anything with four legs. I love swimming at the creek and being sprayed with a water hose, but I despise bath time! I also like to roll around on anything smelly like mud, perfume samples from magazines, and worms.

Kila Monster

Back to Normal

My knees are healed perfectly and I'm back to my normal activity. We even hiked a few miles this morning and I didn't limp at all and I'm not in any pain! Before the surgery, a short walk around the neighborhood would make my knees so sore that I could barely move for a couple of days.

I'm glad things are back to normal just in time for spring. We're getting out and enjoying every bit of it. It won't be long until the Texas heat returns and we'll be stuck inside all day. :(

Looking Up

Things are getting better around here! I got my stitches out yesterday so my legs aren't itchy anymore. The doctor said my knees are strong and that I'm walking perfectly! But I still have a month before my legs are fully healed.

Now Mom only puts me in the crate when she goes to work. I'm on a leash when she's home, just to make sure I don't move around too much. That made me really grumpy at first, but I don't even mind it anymore. It sure beats having to stay in that crate all day. And best of all, I get to sleep in the bed with Mom again! Hooray!

I'm Getting Frustrated!

Mom has been getting on my last nerve! She won't leave me alone, she won't let me go where I want, she stands right over me when I'm walking around the house, and she won't let me lick my itchy legs. What is wrong with her?!

She's been picking me up a lot lately too and I really don't like it. Even my oh-so-vicious growls don't faze her. (I'm really all bark and no bite and she must be onto me.)

I did manage to escape from her a couple of times. All I wanted to do was take a nap in my usual sleeping spots, so I trotted over as fast as I could before she could stop me. Luckily she let me stay there as long as I wanted, but of course, she stayed right by my side. Grrrr! I just want to be left alone for awhile!
