Arrival Story:
I had been looking for a Corgi puppy and one day my mom found an ad in the local paper with a website listed. I checked it out and there were pictures of the puppies-I instantly knew which puppy I wanted. I went to see them and was still convinced that Shadow was the puppy for me. How right I was.

What a week!

It was been one week since I met my "lil seester" Shasta. For four years I've been the top dog and had the run of the house. Now, I have to share it with a little monster who thinks it's fun to bite me whenever she pleases.

It is fun having someone to chase and run with and take part in chewing milk cartons to shreds. I don't like being used as a chew bone though. She doesn't like me barking at her or biting her ears, but what am I suppose to do when she takes a bite out of my lip? She's took my bone so I took her new toy, but we share the rubber ring and toilet paper rolls. The one thing I'm not going to share is my dad's pillow. When he leaves in the morning, it is mine mine mine. I won't have to worry about that for a lil while since she has to sleep in the cage until she stops chewing everything in sight. Then she'll have to sleep at the end of the bed or get her own pillow.

I've been trying to teach her the ropes-where the water bowl is, where to go outside, how to get up on the porch, and when she gets bigger I'll teach her how to ring the bell to go out. I think I kinda like being a big brother. We'll see just how much I like it in the next few months as she gets bigger and hopefully calmer.

Woof Woof,
Shadow
