Bump likes everything about having his own people. Food, water and luv are all so appreciated and never taken for granted.
Pet-Peeves:
Having to stay in the yard, not being allowed to chase the birds or the horses, being unable to visit the neighboring farms.
Favorite Toy:
Bump's favorite toy is anything he's allowed to chew on, and those things he can sneak out of the laundry room to be chased thru the house.
Favorite Food:
Anything that's supposed to go to one of his "brothers". Even if he has his own, he'd rather have Batch or Bar's.
Favorite Walk:
His favorite walk is to the farm pond where he can swim and race along the bank
Arrival Story:
I missed a turn on the highway and as I turned the truck around, I nearly ran over what I thought was a patch of asphalt on the side of the road. I realized it was moving, so I stopped the truck and got out to find this pup. He was so thin and dehydrated he could only run a few feet away before he would fall over. It took me the better part of an hour to coax him into the truck with bits of a hamburger. I brought him home so he could die with dignity. We coaxed him into eating a little rice and chicken broth and the next morning, he greeted us with a doggy smile. Thankful he was still alive, we took him to the vet who removed three bullets, set his fractured leg and sent him home with a special diet. He weighed 21 lbs when I found him and he's now nearly 90lbs.
Bio:
Part coon hound, part conjecture, Bump is extremely loyal and loving. He's now fully healthy, neutered and a heartworm treatment survivor. He's shown with his adopted bro, Batch- a black and white Dal/Aussie mix.
