Hands up! (puts her hands up on the wall and we "frisk" her), crawl, play dead, get your leash, put up your dukes (she sits up and "boxes" with you). She gives the best hugs and can also climb trees if she's after a squirrel!
Arrival Story:
Our sweet dog A.Jacks died in a tragic accident when she was only 3 years old. I wasn't ready to get another dog, but I kept going to shelters so I could be around some doggies (I missed A.Jacks so much). About four months after A.Jacks died, I went into this one shelter and saw this adorable dog with the biggest ears I'd ever seen! She seemed very calm in her cage, but when I took her outside to play, she ran around in a frenzy! I kept telling myself that I wasn't ready, but went back to look at this dog everyday (she didn't have a name - she was picked up as a stray) . I finally dragged my husband in on a Saturday to see her, and he said if she's there on Monday, we could take her home. Lo and behold, on my 5th visit, she was still there. So we adopted her, took her home and named her Seven (after a Seinfeld episode).
