Arrival Story:
i found him and a female wandering the woods. i got them to come to me, and being Easter weekend, i could not get in touch with any foster homes. the local shelter agreed to keep them for a couple days and when i picked him up he was terrified and traumatized. he now only trusts me and my boyfriend's brother, who went with me to pick him up. after much drama we have found his forever home, which is a wonderful place where he is very loved and on the road to being spoiled like any rescue baby should be, and his new mommy has a page for him on dogster also, but he will always be family to us !

Bio:
1 1/2- 2 years old estimated by the vet. he is so sweet to me and a good listener and fast learner. he loves belly rubs and back, ear, and neck massages. He loves to cuddle and take naps with you. he loves to ride in a car and likes it be sung to. loud noises scare him sometimes, but not always. He plays extremely well with Joy, my 30-pound Beagle mix, and will lie on his back and let her pin him, and she runs the roost when they are together. I can walk him without incident on the gentle leader. He is afraid of people coming up behind him. He weighs 86 pounds and his ribs still show. Doc says he's good, but wouldn't hurt to gain 4-5 pounds. he is very treat-motivated and praise-motivated. He LOVES to have his feet played with and will fall asleep in 2 minutes if I rub his toes. He doesn't bark except when a stranger passes his yard. He is good for you when you clean his ears, face, etc, but I don't think he had ever been bathed before, that was a chore, but towards the end he didn't mind so much. He loves to be brushed. he rolls over to have his belly petted and acts like a puppy with his mannerisms still. He loves to play ball or any toys you throw. he will bring them back but his favorite game is 'chase me'. he likes to steal my cell phone or something I take out of my purse or whatever, and he very gently holds it in his mouth and makes me chase him for it, and if I can't catch him I have to 'buy it back' with a treat. he is so funny. definitely has a sense of humor. right now he is asleep at my feet with a ball stuffed in his mouth. he stays in the foster's garage at night and I come back in the morning to let him out. he has always from day 1 waited for me to let him outside before going to the bathroom.
