Home cooked chicken and turkey, cauliflower, salmon treats, almond butter, popcorn, baguettes, and "broc-cicles" (frozen broccoli).

Arrival Story:
I brought her and her sister home from an awful puppy mill situation when they were puppies. They've been together their whole lives. Taz is usually a boy's name, but when I brought this sweet, brindle baby home, she spun around the house just like the cartoon Taz! Taz is my little tomboy! She's very athletic and likes to romp with the boys! I love her with all my heart!
Bio:
Taz was diagnosed with mitral valve disease in Jan. 2005 and went into heart failure in Apr. 2006. I am desperately trying everything I can to save her life--supplements, medications, massage, hydrotherapy. My wish is to convince one of the 2 universities who do mitral valve repair on dogs to operate on my beautiful Taz and save her life! They don't usually accept small dogs for this surgery. We are in a race against time. She's my angel and I can't bear the thought of losing her at such a young age to something so easily repairable (in humans, at least). She's my little love!
********UPDATE********
Taz held on as long as she could. On January 11, she started coughing badly. Seconds later she was gone. Her heart stopped and she went to Heaven. I laid in bed with her for several hours, took the day off work, cried, talked to her, and snuggled with her body. She passed with her eyes open and I couldn't close them. She was so strong in life!! I made paw prints of her then took her to the pet cemetery to have her cremated. We love Taz so much!! She's in Heaven with Squiggy and no longer struggling to breathe. I am so blessed that she came into my life!
