Doggie Dynamics:
not playfulvery playful

Quick Bio:

October 6th 2004

Walks, cookies, being picked up

Lucky stepping on his tail or getting in his way. Or stepping on him.

Favorite Toy:
Any of his bones. As for toys... the red squeaky toy right now. And his baby horsey.

Favorite Food:
Dog cookies and chicken jerkey

Favorite Walk:
Around the block or a stroll through the park to chase squirrels.

Best Tricks:
Sitting and shaking, going and "yelling" at the cats, showing me what he wants.

Arrival Story:
My beloved Snowball just passed after being really sick. I said that I and Snowball's girlfriend needed a new "boyfriend." I called a few ads and the last ad I called, the breeder and I ended up talking for about a half hour. Paul and I went to see their puppies and Buddy (aka "Bear" at that time) went right up to Paul, then to me. I had to have him, and the next night I brought him home!

Buddy looks like his dad: He's built stocky, muscly.

Forums Motto:
the Cookie Monster

The oldest "child"

In April, Buddy became an older sibling to Lucky, the bearded collie we adopted from the Fluffy Dog Rescue. Lucky is about two years old and has a LOT of energy -- more than Buddy wants to exert himself! Although Buddy always liked to see his "friends" at our old apartment complex, having a new dog around was (and continues to be) a challenge for him. Call it being spoiled and not being the only "child" anymore. Lucky enjoys playing all the time, and Buddy has learned to play a little too. He's still working on the sharing thing...

My first class

Jessie and Paul are taking me to class on Sundays where I get to see other dogs and people. The one woman even throws turkey hot dogs at me! During that class I got a lot of little treats when I heard a clicking noise. I learned the "find it" game, and how to make tight turns while on my leash. I got to follow a spoon with cheese on it -- that helped me a lot! I can't wait to go for another ride back to the class next week!
