Arrival Story:
At nine years old Trixie's owners decided that they did not want her any more. They had got children by then . The children mauled her and she became a little snappy and one of them had to go . Postscript-- It is with sadness that Trixie has been diagnosed with CUSHINGS DESEASE , the same illlness that our other little dog Boysie had. She has lost a lot of her lovely coat but is still as perky as ever at the moment . We are using a new drug Vetoryl. Postscript------- When tomorrow starts without me Don't think we're far apart For every time you think of me I'm right there in your heart. Anon.

Trixie said it all with her eyes. She loved me with such intensity it brings tears to my eyes to think of it. Sadly she had a heart condition and died in my arms . I loved her so much---.

it is with great sadness that I have to say that Trixie has died . It was a mild morning and I carried her to go with Trevor and Patsy on their morning walk. She barked at a cow in the field. took a few steps in the sunshine. Only a few minutes after our return she collapsed and died in my arms. I am so very grateful for that moment and the fact that we were all with her. Mary

--- our precious little girl has had to visit the vet again. Quite out of the blue Trixie collapsed. She has Cushings Disease so we naturally assumed it was a side effect of that. However Trixie had an X-ray and it was found that she has an enlarged heart. She has to take more pills, but as always takes everything in her stride. A brave little soldier.
