Poor guy, about 3 & 1/2 weeks ago Chesney had to have Elongated Soft Palate & Stenotic Nares surgeries. We drive over an hour & 1/2 to go to his vet in Lakewood, Colorado. We love Dr. Sylwester & he knows his Bullies! On the way home, We totalled our SUV on the Interstate, not good! Thank God for pain meds & tranquilizers!! We finally made it home safe & sound, sore & bruised, but very lucky to be alive! Ches had a pretty good recovery considering.
His stitches in his nose were disolvable, but soon started looking pretty "ruff", we went back to the Dr & on the way there noticed a vry nasty looking place on his back leg. He had a staff infection!!! It was pretty painful & he ended up with about $150.00 in meds.
His leg is healing very nicely, but poor big guy, he went in today for a tail amputation & neutering. Ches had a screw tail & they pretty much had to dig it out, the were surprised at how deep it went. He is home, with drains in his bo-bo & sooooooo not happy with mama! He gets his drains out Wednesday.
He's had a pretty stressful month, BUT daddy comes home from Iraq in 19 days!!!! wooooo hoooooo!
Please keep my big bully in your thoughts & prayers
