Arrival Story:
Mom has wanted a little dog like us for the longest time. She begged dad for over a year to have one and one day he said yes. So for over 6 months she searched for the right person and the right time and for the right pup. She origionally wanted a little girl...but boys are so much better, really we know this is a fact! I mean look at us! Mom saw us when we were only 4 days old and she held us in her hands. She said we looked like hamsters. She said it was love at first sight. So all thoughts of wanting a girl were gone. She waited many weeks for us to be able to come home. We were the only two pups in the litter, and dad said only one of us could be picked. Mom begged for weeks to let her have us both, she could not chose and also did not want us two little guys seperated. Dad finally gave in. He was not happy at first, but we rubbed off on him and now he is happy too that he has us both. Finally after waiting so long we are home. We are going to try our best to make sure she loves little boys more and never regrets getting little boys.
Bio:
I am the opposite to my brother Cole pretty much. We even look different. I am the white double dapple dachshund. I LOVE getting dirty, getting into trouble, and getting away with everything because I am too cute to get into trouble. I LOVE water too. I will jump in the shower with you if you let me. I have blue eyes and a big heart. I am a cuddler too though. My favorite thing is my baby pool in the back yard. Mom got it for me to play and splash in. When the weather is warm she fills it up and I blow bubbles in the water and splash all over the place. Mom says I was a lab in my past life. So she calls me a labradachshund. Cole just likes to sit in moms lap and watch me play. He doesn't like swimming at all.

Those blue eyes would melt anyones heart. I am so lucky to have you as one of my babies. That sweet little white face and goofy disposition. My little water dog, you bring tears to my eyes with joy whenever I look into your face. No one cannot smile when looking at you. I could not imagine my life without you. You give me purpose and a reason to get up in the morning, as all your brothers and sisters do. But there is something special about you.

Mom entered us dogs in a doggy modeling contest. cainandablecollection.com was looking for a fall/winter model for their products and mom thought we would be perfect for the job.
Well, sadly we didn't win. I am pretty bummed because I love taking baths and playing in the water, so I would have done a great job modeling their bath products... Maybe next time. I am not giving up! One day I will complete my dream of being a dog model.
Hunter won in one of their catagories...FRIENDLIEST. That is pretty cool and Cole and I are listed in HONORABLE Winners...so we kindof won!
I will take it and enjoy my 15 minutes of fame.
