Arrival Story:
Jake was originally named Woody--he was rescued from New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina and transported to the Chicago-area for foster parenting. Our doggie daycare, Playful Paws, took in some rescues from Paws Chicago. We signed up to foster and took him home for a trial run with our resident dogs Cody and Buddy. My husband had him for 10 minutes and decided he was ours. We fostered to adopt him and after six months we became his forever Mom and Dad.

Bio:
Jake is the sweetest dog. He follows us around, wants to please, is curious, calm and laid back. He loves to cuddle and willingly accepts the role as lowest dog in the family pack. We are so glad he is ours.
