Arrival Story:
Uma was my brother's dog. She was his 21st birthday present. She was the family dog but he was her human and her world revolved around him. She slept with him and waited up for him on the couch with her head on the armrest while staring at the clock if he was out late. She would talk in such a cute groany/growly sort of way and my brother would talk back to her the same way.

Bio:
Poor Uma suffered far too much health-wise for such a happy, good natured dog. She had a Beagle body with skinny JRT legs that just didn't support her wight very well as she got older. She had a couple slipped disc surgeries in her later years and last March we were told she had an inoperable tumor and we had to make the awful decision to put her to sleep. She was in horrible pain and none of us could stand to see her suffer any longer. We know she is in Doggy Heaven now watching over us and waiting patiently for my brother.
