She loved walking anywhere, she loved walking along the shipping canel in Houghton, Michigan because people always stopped to pet her. SHe loved people!

Arrival Story:
I bought Gretty from a pet shop in Green Bay, Wisconsin. She had been in pet shops for a long time and when I took her out to play with her, I KNEW she was meant to be my girl! My ex husband said I couldnt get her, but I basically striked and refused to leave the mall without her, since I lived 100 miles away from the pet shop, after about 4 hours of calling him at work he gave in and I got my girl!!!! We were together for 16 years...and for 8 years after my ex husband left! Gretty was gentle and kind, but definitely the leader of the pack!!!

Bio:
Gretty lived in Michigan and when I had to leave to go to Toronto she was too old, and she loved loved loved my parents house, so she lived there! She ruled the roost there too and my mothers yorkies, and poodle and Sandy gave her all the respect she deserved. She just left us not even a month ago and gave us all 16 great years of love. She was senile at the end but would remember me whenever I went home to Michigan to visit her! I will miss her forever!
