SNOW DAY:

Snowflakes fall upon my nosey
Now's my favorite time of year
On the days I can roll and tumble
White and fluffy ear to ear

Do you want to come and frolic?
All through this wonderful joyous powder-
Yippee! I could stay and play for hours!

Dog park treasure

Oh BOY! I found the bestest most intresting-ist thing in the world at the park today! It was a shiny orange rubber ball! OMD was it entertaining! Lucky me I found it before some other pup came along and got the treasure. It was the most fun ball in the world- incomparable to all of those boring balls I have at home- no this ball WAS AMAZING!! I ran with it and taunted everyone and dunked it in the pond and threw it in the air and rolled on it and chewed it and played fetch with mommy! For two hours it was so great! Then we were getting ready to go home and I ran off to meet this Jack Russell that ran by us and mom called me back and next thing I knew- Oh it's too horrible! - I dropped it! And I couldn't find it and mommy couldn't help me cuz she's bad at finding stuff too- and my brother Will wouldn't help me! And..... I want that orange rubber ball!

Ok I'm bored now...

Now that my mommy has been taking us to the park for the past 4 days in a row I don't feel like fetching my toy out of the water anymore- mommy threw it for me but I just watched it go... then it floated away. Now I don't have a floating toy anymore....

I conquered my fear!

Earlier this week we went to the doggie park- mommy bought me a new toy that floats to help me get braver b/c I love to fetch things out of the water, but if they go more than a foot or so away from the bank I stop cuz I'm afraid to go out that far- but not anymore! Now I can go out and chase Cookie when she swims away from me! (I like to jump on her head- she does not appriciate this!) Now I'm a power swimmer! I run and leap and porpoise through the water like a speed boat! ( i'm a bit slow coming back- but it's getting there that matters!) Victory is mine!!

Hooray!!

I love playing at the dog park! I have lots of friends there and am oh so happy when I run into them! Mommy lets me take my football and my friend Coco Puff always tries to run off with it. I already lost my soccer ball there- a rotten lab carried it out too far in the pond for me to swim and he wouldn't bring it back! I can't wait until it stops raining so my new little bro can go with me and meet all of my friends!
