Her brother Murphy- he drives her crazy barking and trying to get her to play with him(by smacking her in the head with his toys.), and getting her nails trimmed- unless she's sedated it takes 8 people to hold her down! Squirells!

Happy Hips chicken jerky (must have it sprinkled on her dinner!Or non-fat plain yogurt)

Carousel Farms- through the woods

Best Tricks:
Very well behaved- understands lots of words and phrases -nothing spectacular, but she's very smart :) Used to Sit Pretty- but her hips bother her too much now

Arrival Story:
When Cookie was 3 months old our friend Steve brought her home from the 7-11 gas station, someone was just going to leave her there. We ended up keeping her b/c Steve couldn't, and she's such a great dog, I can't believe anyone could have abandoned her.

Bio:
Cookie was our only dog until we adopted Murphy 2 yrs ago, so she was very assertive around other dogs. Murphy (although she loves to play w/him sometimes) further aggrivates her by his lack of doggy social skills. About 8mos ago I found out about a great off leash dog park in our area with a pond and woods, a huge field for them to run around and play. Since I've been taking the dogs at least twice a week cookie has become so much more mellow around other dogs. Although she tends to scare all of her friends away b/c she's very vocal when she plays!

Today my daddy took me in to get my vaccines updated...I overheard mom this morning trying to convince him to give me a bath while I was there! Like I smell er something! Geesh!
Everytime mom takes me in to work with her (at the vet) I won't leave the office b/c I know that I'm either going in the kennel or getting a bath! I lay down next to the door and give my best "puppy dog eyes" but she still picks me up and takes me in the back! So if I have to stay during the day while mommy works, I constantly try to escape. I can open the gate to the runs and I can't get daycare b/c I jump the fence open the door and let myself out to the outside runs! So I have to stay in the stupid kennel with a lock on it and mom trys to give me a blanket and toys like that makes me feel better!


The Package

Mommy got a package in the mail today- and usually that's a ho-hum occasion for us pups b/c there isn't nothing in it for us- the cats get to play in a box for a few hours and we get squat. But today..... today was different! Mommy opened up this glorious package and Lo and behold.... NYLABONES! hours of chewing pleasure- and I get the first one! Mom got us new bones and toys because we wore down our old ones and William has been on a destroy all toys spree- but we got a squeeky kong squirell with a rope and a doggy hoots toy and a cagey cube and 4 wonderful flavors of nylabones! What a glorious day!
