Arrival Story:
We wanted a little sister for our first whippet, Alex. So I found a wonderful breeder in Toledo, Ohio (about an hour from our home) -- Mary Alderman of Jaama Whippets. Emma was evaluated at 9 weeks and determined to be too tiny for show and given "pet quality" status. So we were the lucky ones that got to adopt little Emma! I drove down there to see her and absolutely fell in love with her... those big dark eyes and her beautiful face. We are so blessed! She has been so great to have in our home. She may be tiny, but she has a big personality... always giving her big brother a hard time. But she's a sweetie with us... very affectionate and loving... our baby girl.
