Well I have been hard at work lately. I finished my rally legs. 3 legs at 16 months and I have my second AKC title- RN. That means Rally Novice. Mom was so proud. See you aren't suppose to touch your human in the ring. I know this rule and Mom reached down and grabbed me in the ring at the end! Luckily the judge was already writting down all those positive marks about me!!! It was 90F outside and I even laid down in the ring when I wasn't suppose to but mom mooed at me (just like my favorite toy) and we hurry up finished, and got ice cream!

Oh I also decided to run a 5K with Belle, Mom, and Dad. We were raising money for pets in shelters. Everyone should have a chance to have a wonderful home like ours. Belle and Daddy ran and Mom and I walked. I even let Mom carry me for a bit. She loves me and likes to snuggle. Even when it is really warm outside!

So now I have finished spring school. I was taking a bit of a summer break. Mom says we are starting agility training too. I think Mom is going to have to start practice running to keep up with me. She doenst have a chance but maybe we can practice together a lot so she can work up to my speed!

Another Rally Leg

This weekend was much better than last! Me and Mom worked together and I was able to get a lot more treats out of her! Here I thought she was being mean not giving me any breakfast in the morning. I had no idea she was planning on a turkey and liver brunch with lots of hugs in between.

This time the number 95 was next to my name! Mom was a lot more happy and I was rewarded with way more goodies.

I lost 5 points because I didn't understand why this strange lady in the ring kept following me and mom around. I thought maybe when I was doing a finish right if I stared her down she would leave... no such luck!

My first trial

Monday was my first Rally trial. I was so excited because some of my friends were going and I got to meet some pretty show havanese! It was so overwheliming hundreds of dogs all around me, really just wanting to play. But mom thought it would be fun to do obedience activities... ugh! So I decided when the judge told us to go I would ignore mom and look at all the dogs and people watching me. It didn't matter what Mom said or what hand signal she gave me, I just enjoyed the view. After awhile I could tell the change in her tone meant I better start moving so I did. I was a little slow though because I was watching all my teachers smile at me. Mom gave me hugs and kisses at the end so I did something right. Then we went back into the ring and I got a pretty green ribbon. I wanted the blue one but it went to someone else. Well maybe next time. Mom kept saying I got my first leg so I have something to be proud of :)
