Summer time.

Geez is my mom ever going to come home?! She went on a vacation and it seems like it's been forever! She said she's got presents for me from some place called Disney World when she gets back. I hope the presents are toys and not clothes!! In the meantime I'm having fun over at my pal Loki's place. I know my mom wants to see me soon though!

Swimming!!

Yesterday Mom took me swimming in the LSU Lakes! This is the first time I've wanted to go swimming. Mom was so proud of me. I even went and fetched sticks! I had the best time ever, I want to go again!

Mardi Gras

Today we went to the Krewe of Mutts parade! This was my second year going, and the best so far! The theme this year was Pawrates of the Carribean. There were so many other doggies of all shapes and sizes for me to sniff and play with, even some other springer spaniels...I had the greatest time! People kept throwing treats towards me, and lots of little people stopped to pet me. Mom took some good pictures too. Can't wait till next year!

Oh my oh my

Today started out rough but it's ending well. On the way to the vet (the first time) mom got a flat tire and we had to sit in the hot sun while the tire got fixed. Then, at the vet I found out I have whipworms. Doc said I must have gotten them from the dog park. I'm being treated and I feel better already! It takes a while to get rid of them though, so phoey. But since it is my birthday, I got a big milkbone from the vet. :) Mom also made doggie brownies (and got party hats...*grumble grumble*)
Loki gets to stay with us until tomorrow afternoon and I am having a blast playing tug o' war and generally romping around with him. :)
I am sad though because I won't be able to go to the dog park for a while, and it's totally my favorite place ever! :( My own yard will have to do for now.

Happy Birthday to me in 3 hours!

Tomorrow's my birthday!! I'm gonna be 1 year old! Yay!!
I hope mom doesn't try and put a silly party hat on me and take pictures, but it's probably going to happen anyways.
My birthday plans include: eating lots of homemade treats, going to the park to see my friends, and possibly even taking a trip to the doggie toy store!

Halloween is soon!!!! Okay not really soon..

I can't wait for Halloween! My costume came in the mail and I look so cute in it-- I'm going to be a skeleton!


Mom is gone more often during the day again now and that makes me sad...I think she needs to start skipping her classes! ;)

A crazy Saturday morning...

Wow today has been a great day so far! Mom and I walked to the Farmer's Market. Lots of people loved on me, and I got many yummy treats! Then we got to go to the dog park and play! Now I'm all tuckered out...I think it's time for my nap. :)

On a vacation!

I just left on a six hour car ride to Birmingham with my grandma for three weeks while my mom and dad go on a road trip to Seattle! I'll have lots of friends to play with in Birmingham but i'm sure my mom and dad will miss me a lot!!

Guess whaaaat- my lovely owner just bought me home a big bag of rawhidessss!!!
