So many lost labbies!

So Mom's taking care of this really old Irish Setter, who so far, I have yet to identify as a real dog. Maybe mixed with some sort of cat... hmm...

Mom came home today and was just sitting with me watching some TV, when she thought she saw some sort of yellow blur out the back door.
She got up to look, and sure enough there was another dog in our backyard. She went outside to check if he was friendly, and to check for tags. Which he only had one and it didn't have a name or number on it.

She let me and the beagle outside to see how we'd get along with this dog (to keep him in the backyard).

We were fine, and did a good job of keeping him there, not that he showed much interest in leaving.

Mom realized that he was not neutered, which was probably the cause of his wandering.

Mom decided to take me and the runaway up the street to look for his home. On our walk a golden retriever/lab decided that he was going to follow us. So now Mom was up to 3 blonde dogs BOL.

Then she heard someone calling a dogs name, so after she told the new dog to go home, she asked the people if she had their dog. The lady said "no but we've lost our lab!"
So the new lab and I walked down the road a bit with Mom to see yet another lab running around someone's yard. The dog ran up to us and Mom got a hold of his collar. That dog belonged to the lady we had just spoken to. So Mom held the dog until the lady came and got him.

Then as we were walking down the road a car pulled over and asked if the lab was our dog. Mom said no, and the lady jumped out and said "Timber!" Turns out that he is her "granddog" BOL. But before mom could tell her that the reason he was probably wandering was because he wasn't fixed, she left. She was very grateful though :)
