A really tough polyvinyl chew ring; the insoles of my shoes...any shoes!;

Like the other 2...anything that doesn't try to eat him first

Any place that I am! He's never more than 2 feet away from me when I'm home

Arrival Story:
I actually bought Tucker for a friend of mine who lives alone, is often frightened and lonely and loves Boston Terriers. She comes to my house often and plays with the dogs and had often said how much she'd like to have one herself. There were no local breeders offering BTs when I decided to do this so I found a reputable one in another state, received pictures of the five new puppies just a week old and picked Tucker from the line up. I got a new picture of him every week to check his progress and when he was 10 weeks old he was flown into Charlotte NC where I drove to pick him up. Love at first sight when he came waddling out of the carrier! He slept under my neck on the long drive home and much of the bonding occurred right there. I was panicked by the time I got home because I REALLY didn't want to give him up! I finally did take him to my friend's home to make the gift presentation. My joy was absolutely great when she refused to take him...on the basis that she was too busy to manage a puppy. I TRIED to look disappointed but inside I was dancing a jig! He's been one of the biggest joys of my life for five years now.

Bio:
Tucker was the 3rd addition to my family of BTs and it was one of the best decisions I ever made, at least regarding my family. He has the most personality of any little creature I've ever encountered and is an absolute 'lover'. Wants to be held constantly (when he's not in the back yard chasing squirrels). His VERY FAVORITE THING is to have his neck nibbled and kissed on. Every time he gets on my lap he immediately points his nose to the ceiling and offers me his neck to kiss....if I lie down, he puts his neck on my face until I've paid the proper amount of homage. He was born in Marysville, KS and I had him flown to my home when he was 10 weeks old. The breeder had provided regular pictures of him and his 4 litter mates as they grew. I picked him immediately out of the 5 and it was certainly the right choice!

-Crap of a day! Cloudy, cool, no squirrels in the yard
-Dad got me up at 4:30AM! He had to make a short trip and I really MUST go wherever he goes, regardless of the time.
-Back home about 9am. Still nothing in the yard to chase. Cuddled with Dad on the sofa while he drank coffee and read the newspaper.
-10:30am. Hate that vacuum cleaner!! There wouldn't be such a mess on the floor if Little Man, Corky and Bridge would wipe their feet when they come in...like I do!
-Noon. Off to the grocery. I have to watch the car while the shopping goes on. No dogs to bark at there today so it was boring duty.
-1:00PM. Hate that mop too!
-2:00PM. Treat time! Boiled chicken. Yum!
-3:00PM. Dad finally sat down again and I had about an hour of lap time. That's been scarce for the last few days!
-4:00PM ...more later..
