Recent News on Scampers

Update

Scampers is now one year old. He had his first Birthday December 28, 2006. He got lots of presents for Christmas and his birthday.
He is turning into such a handsome boy. He is still 5.5 pounds and he has a great thick silky coat. He is still dark, with his colors being black and gold.
He is such a cuddle bug and a true momma's boy, he loves laying on my lap all day. He loves people and gets along with just about everyone. He is pad trained and still does no marking in the house.
He is spoiled rotten with his bed, coats and outfits, leashes, harnesses, collars, toys, treats, bows and bones.

He is AKC registered and if all goes well he will sire his first litter in summer or fall of 2007.

He is such a doll and I just love having him!!!

Housebreaking update

It has been over a week since we started Scampers and Trixie's housebreaking. I am happy to report that things all going great and neither of them have had any accidents. Scampers has to be let out every 5 hours because that is all the longer he can hold it at this time. Trixie can go up to 10 hours without going to the bathroom, although I only let her go 8 hours which is during the night. I will be so glad when Scampers can hold it for 8 hours during the night so that I can get more than 5 hours of sleep.

Scampers is 16 weeks old and currently weighs 3.2 pounds. He has silver on his head that is creeping down his neck and on the legs above the elbow. Hopefully his coat will turn blue with gold. He is full of energy and loves being with his buddy Trixie. He loves everyone and he loves to run, especially when he is competing with Trixie. He has just started his house breaking training and has been doing excellent so far. He is just learning to walk on a leash and with encouragement and is doing very good.
