It seems that no matter what animal is introduced into our family, my sons call him/her Joe .... in some fashion. My two cats were both called Joe ... Original Joe and Extra Crispy Joe ..... Regular Joe and Fat Joe ...... you get the picture. This started to carry over into their own pets as they got older. Their first dog was DogJoe ..... then, there was Buddy Joe ..... and on and on it goes.
When we picked our pup at 4 days old we went over names to call her. My hubby said on the way home that day that he didn't know what we were going to call her just as long as it was 'not Joe' ..... which became Nacho in about 5 seconds. It's been a good choice for her and keeps with family tradition .... sort of.
