Chasing tennis balls, mountain hiking, swimming in mountain lakes and streams....and for a rare treat, chasing a tennis ball into the swimming pool, where he displays Olympic-worthy swimming techniques,then gets out and shakes on his masters.

The mail-man hands down...and anyone else on the other side of the gate...

Arrival Story:
Perry's son got Frank for his girlfriend at the time. They were living in an apartment complex in Dallas and Frank was politely asked to leave by the management, due to his excessively enthiastic nature as a puppy. Perry was simultaneously getting a divorce and needed some canine company, so Frank filled the bill. Frank was crated up and flown from Dallas to Burbank where Perry met him and they've been best pals ever since. Then Sandy came onto the scene and the rest is history...
Bio:
For a long time we thought Frank was a German/Aussie mix..then went to a vet who said German Shepherd/Catahoula..a Louisiana hunting dog....that was further confirmed when we took him to Rattle-snake avoidance class. The handler there agreed with the Catahoula hunch..so there you have it.
