Arrival Story:
I was all alone at the pound and needed a good Mom. I stole ST's heart and that's all there is to that. I am husky with either Akita or maybe German Shepherd mixed in there. No one is sure.
Bio:
I was perfectly white when I was a pup and as I got older my brown spots started showing up and getting darker over time. I have brown eyelashes on one eye and white on the other. My nose was black when I was a pup and changed to pink. I look like a spotted cow-dog now. My fur is the softest and I have the sweetest temperament. Definitely a keeper. I love to go berry picking and will Hoover the berries right off the bushes like a bear. I go for both low bush cranberries and blueberries but the blueberries are my favorite. I also like the cats, Dante and Gonzo, although everyone knows I am Gonzo's dog, not the other way around. I guess I am his personal rubbing post with fur and a good disposition. Good thing I have 4 legs or he'd be tripping me up when I walk.

So...I am now selectively deaf and can't see crapola but am still hanging in here. Last weekend we went camping and I just laid around. The vet says I am hypothyroid but not sure what that means. They are attempting to figure it out. Part of my blood work says that I am and another part says that I am not. My Moms may give me some thyroid medication for a month and see if it makes any difference. Otherwise the vet says I am in good shape. I lay down slowly instead of throw myself at the floor as I used to do. My Mom's changed my diet to Science Digest kidney mix and it is pretty tasteless but I am eating it. Don't know if I will see another summer but you never know.

I am almost 14 and I am still hanging in there although I tend to bark at things I think I hear. No big deal. Got some meds for my back issues and occasionally take them but not every day. I am such a good dog!
