Arrival Story:
I'd always wanted a Boston Terrier, so I went on Petfinder.com and found Fergs through CompAnimals. We drove all the way to West Grove, PA, where she was being fostered by an angel named Joy Cully. Now I have my three big dogs and my very own little lap dog. Their sizes are like "Happy Meal," "Tall," "Grande," and "Venti."
Bio:
Fergie was rescued from a puppy mill in Ohio. During her painful time at the mill, she was kept in a cage 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Her toes are splayed as a result of standing on cage wire for virtually her entire life. Worse, she was used for breeding puppies for profit, while she herself was still a puppy. She never knew what toys were, and she was literally afraid to go outside. She had never even set foot on grass before she was rescued. She was malnourished and very skinny, you could count her ribs! Fergie never had the chance to be a puppy herself, until now. She's eager to learn, to please, and to finally enjoy life--the way it should be! We are honored to call her a part of our family.
