Arrival Story:
Angus's owner and family could no longer care for him. I've known Angus since 1997. His owner asked me to take over and I was glad to oblige.
Bio:
Angus crossed over the Rainbow Bridge at 2:19 on August 23, 2007.
I had placed him on my bed for him to be near me during the night. I
woke about 2:15 and his breathing was labored as it has been the last
day or so. His legs began to jerk and his body began trembling. I
pulled him on top of me and held him, talking to him and petting him.
He acted as if he was vomiting, gave one last gasp, and was gone. It
was relatively peaceful, and I'm thankful that I could be with him in
his last moments, and that they were spent at home.
