The Chronicles of Sieglinde

Thank you for the Birthday wishes

It is kinda odd having your Birthday and Bridge Day one and the same, but it does limit the number of dates Mum has to remember - and with so many kitties and pups over the years, there are a lot of dates.

Friday was a sad day for Mum, as I guess many of you would know. Lots of happy memories, and then the memory of my crossing over, in Mum's arms, and Mum crying and Dad saying "she's gone". But, being me, and loving my food, I did have a lovely roast lamb dinner in honour of my birthday earlier in the evening, so I went happy and with a full tummy. What more could you ask for.

Tomorrow (Monday) will be Freya's gotcha day. I crossed on a Saturday, and Mum and Dad took me to Pets in Peace on the Sunday. They picked up my ashes on the Monday, and Dad found Freya on the Tuesday.

Mum was not sure - she felt it was too soon to think about another dog. She was still in shock and mourning me. But when they bought me home, and Mum put me on the floor for Valkyrie to say hi, she realised it was a good thing, because Valkyrie had been so down since I went, and Freya cheered her up and made her happy and playful again.

I had a great Birthday here at the Bridge with all my Rotties Rule Angel furrends - Bunny, Tucker, Parker, Bogey, Peyton, Tess, River and all the other wonderful angels here. We ate, drank and played lots of games, then napped in the warm sun with a lovely breeze and then did it all again.

Sending lots of angel dust to all my furrends.

Woofs and Rottie Leans, Sieglinde
