Recycling the cats' litter! Looking after his kittens - Pebbles and Jasper, Pablo and Mr. Bibby, chasing groundhogs - then licking them, jumping, licking, sniffing bottoms, bossing other dogs around, wearing his raincoat.

Nails clipped, vet trips, having his bones stolen, sharing cuddles, putting his toys back in his toy box.

Arrival Story:
Parker - formerly known as GI Joe - was kept on a balcony all the time, not walked, or even allowed to urinate/defecate anywhere other than this balcony. This balcony was opposite where we then lived. I intervened and went from a confirmed cat person to a born-again dog/cat person.

Bio:
I discovered that before the month or so that Parker spent on a balcony he had been dumped on a road in Alabama and a kind woman (who seems to make a career of saving dogs) took him in. However, with 8 rescue dogs she did not have room for another - hence him ending up with these people who lived opposite me in MD. When I first laid eyes on Parker on the balcony - I told my husband that if I ever got a dog he was the kind of dog I wanted.
