Arrival Story:
my mother actually found her and pokie (another yorkie & no longer w/us) along a busy street. when we called the owners, it took them about a week to finally make any effort towards coming to get them. turns out she had had pokie for about 9 yrs, and had bought sophie for her 4 yr old daughter & kept them in the garage in a pen, while their boxer was kept in the house.we live in flordida!!!! it gets hot!! we told her we were not going to give them back, and the woman said we could have them. she even offered us their AKC papers...needless to say, we did not even dignify that with a response. since then they lived happily ever after and were loved and continue to be loved more than anything!
