Monday 3/15/10 my final entry

Well last night at about 5pm I took a turn for the worse. I got off the couch and could no longer move my back legs and started to shake and pant in pain. My vet had Mom give me more pain meds every 2 hours to help. I was able to sleep for about 4-5 hours but cried in pain a lot. I was still wanting to eat and wanted so badly to go out side and pee but I couldn't. Mom had to beg me just to pee even if I was in the house it was ok so I did a little. My vet came at 8am and dad's friend Bruce to help carry me out to the car. I rode with my vet cause her car would be easier to get me in and out. We made it to the vets office about 8:30am and by 9am I had made my journey to be with Foster, Bud, Nickie and all my wonderful Snoop angels. This has really been the hardest thing for Mom and it will take a while for her to move on cause she just wants her baby back. I will see her again someday but for now it's just see ya later.

Sunday 3/14/10

well not much is new I think this rainy weather is making it hard for me to get around so I'm just haning out on the couch :)

Saturday 3/13/10

We I'm limping a little more today, maybe because of the weather not too sure. I ate well :) not too much new. My piggy brother Wendell is sick so Mom has been taking care of him.

friday 3/12/10

wondering if we are doing the right thing, Mom doesn't want me to be in any pain and she hopes that she is not being cruel. My mouth still hurts and last night I tried to pick up a box and I yelped and it took a while to calm me down. Mom sent a message to my vet and she said it could take a few days for the meds to work. If they don't work then I will have to have surgery. Mom wants me to keep on fighting and I will do my best.

Thursday 3/11/10

Well last night I started the new meds for my infection, I have to take one pill twice a day. So now I'm up to 7 different meds every day 9 pills total and my eye drops for diabetes insipidus twice a day, WOW. I have a drug store YIKES!! Well I ate ok this morning but I wouldn't eat my yogurt but neither would Max so now mom thinks that maybe it was a bad container?? It was a brand new one that she just opened, what a bummer :( I slept good last night still having a hard time eating but I only got my 2nd dosage this morning so maybe by tonight there will be some improvement, we'll see I guess.

Wednesday 3/10/10

well this morning I was very quiet but ate ok had the same thing as yesterday including the cucumber. My vet Dr Moore sent Mom a message this morning that they were have a meeting at the vets office and I was going to be the topic of conversation on what to do about this infection. I just got an answer that they will be giving me another oral med which might also help with my prostrate too. they were thinking of having me come back in for another shot tonight and saturday but after discussing it they realized the the duration of the injection wouldn't be that long and I would benefit more with oral meds. So mom will pick those up tonight. just glad I don't have to go back to the vets it takes me a 1-2 days just re-coop from going, stresses me out too much.

Tuesday 3/9/10

well I had a hard time getting up so mom helped me :) Still not feeling good and still feel warm to the touch. I was able to eat some Evo canned with water mixed in and my meds. I also had a small slice of cucumber that mom peeled and cut up into little pieces so I wouldn't have to chew. Before mom left for work I had some yogurt too so I did eat well and will rest all day and see how I feel when mom gets home from work. We need to ask when they expect more improvement I don't really want any surgery.

monday 3/8/10

Well it's been a day. Started off I couldn't eat and a vist to the vet and it turns out I have an infection in the back of my mouth. I got a shot so hopefully it will work. I have a temp too. Mom has been crying all day, I have never not been able to eat. Dad stayed home with me all day. I ate some of my food mixed with water so it was good I ate. Mom has finally stopped crying, she needs to stop it!

Sunday 3/7/10

Well sorry I didn't post yesterday. I lost a friend yesterday, her name was Annie and it was just to hard. It was a big shock as to how sick she was, she was a brave little girl . I guess if it hadn't been for the snow Mom would have never know I had blood in my urine and we wouldn't have known, would it be any easier? I don't think so but I really don't know.
Well yesterday I got on the couch it took about 20 tries and I fell and Mom told me not to do it and tried to help me and I grrrr'd at her I did it myself and thenIi was tired all day. I did it again today Mom had to bring me my meds cause I didn't want to get up off the couch. I tried to get on the big bed and couldn't and cried but I wouldn't let mom pick me up. I mist be doing something wrong.
