Arrival Story:
We met Hailey's sister, Sally, at a parade in Levenworth, WA for Oktoberfest. She was so tiny! Her Mom and Dad were carrying her in a basket. We asked where they got her and it was from the same town on Whidbey Island (WA) where I grew up and my parents still live. My parents went home and called to see if there were any puppies left. Sure enough, there was one and she is now our precious baby! It was fate!
Hailey's dog Mom was a blonde wirehair and her dog Dad was a tan smooth. Hailey has the softest coat ever! She has gorgeous eyeliner type markings around her eyes and a feathered tail like a long haired dachshund. She is adsolutely gorgeous! She is a genuine sweet girl as well.
Bio:
Hailey is SUPER fast! She is a racer and is a natural! She is a 5 time champ in Seattle and 2 time champ here in Phoenix. She went to the National Championships in San Diego last year, but sadly didn't win that race. Next year watch out! =)
Hailey is going to be in a movie that is going to be released soon. It is called "Wiener Takes All". Check it out!
Hailey has a brother Cody and a sister named Emma. Both are pugs. Hailey thinks pugs are the greatest, besides wiener dogs that is!
Hailey loves to go to the doggie park as much as she can, loves to go to work with her Mom and LOVES to take vactions to San Diego where she can go to dog beach! Hailey LOVES to go swimming in the ocean and chase her football like the big dogs. She is a sporty wiener! She then likes to dry off by rolling in the sand and always ends up looking rather silly with sand all over her. She can't wait to show Emma the beach this year!

It is my birthday today! Mommy took Emma and I to Day Camp today so that we could play with our friends. The people at Day Camp had a Happy Birthday banner for me today! Cody came with us to drop us off, but he went home with Mommy. Mommy said we are going to celebrate tonight at home. I can't wait!

Looks like I am the TOP fundraiser for the Arizona Adopt a Greyhound 2006 Wiener Dog Nationals! =) Thank you to everyone who made a donation in my honor!
Now I have to make sure I am fit to run! =) I got my cast off on Aug 18th. I limped for a few days, but now I walk just fine. My mommy is taking me to have one more xray this week just to triple check that I am OK! Mommy doesn't want me to hurt myself! Mommy knows that I LOVE to run, so she is hoping I will be able to. I have be running around the house with Emma, but that is it since I got my cast off. Mommy didn't want to take any chances, so I have been laying low.
I hope I get to be on TV again this year! The past several years, Mommy and I have hit the morning TV circuit here in AZ to talk about the wiener races. I like the attention I get when I go! There are so many nice people that just want to pet me. I love that!

The doctor said my toe looks great! I have been very energetic and can't wait for my cast to come off in 2 weeks! Dr said I should be fine... I haven't lost muscle mass and my toe looks great! He said I should be in tip top (toe!) shape to race on Sept 2nd! I really like to run! I love having people call my name and love hearing them cheer for me when I win! I hope I do great this year!
