He "pushes" you out the door if I tell him "Tell (so & so) to get Mr Softee!" Gets us both ice cream ;o) We also tell him to "referee" when the other dogs are squabbling. He goes over to them and breaks it up!
Arrival Story:
We adopted Thunder from the Manhattan Bide-A-Wee in June 2001, when he was around 5 months old. We had to wait three weeks to take him home, as he had pneumonia and was on antibiotics.
Originally, Thunder was adopted to be our resident guard dog, but he failed miserably at that job. He lives to meet new people and will not tolerate NOT being petted. You're not allowed to com into his home or talk to his people on the street without making a stink over him. He howls and does a butt wag to get your attention, and if that doesn't work, he'll just stick his head right under your hand and make himself at home sitting on your foot.
Bio:
Thunder is currently in training for his Canine Good Citizen test ... which we hope to take in summer 2005
